Choosing Glasses To Suit Your Face Shapeposted on 15 June 2016 | posted in News and Articles
There are five basic face shapes, and not every glasses frame will suit the same shape. Here are some tips to help you when choosing your new glasses from the wide range available.
If you have a round face look for narrow, geometric frames which make your face look longer.
For those with a heart-shaped face, squarer frames will work best with your face's proportions. Avoid teardrop lenses and frames with too much detailing at the top.
If your face shape is triangular and wider at the bottom, go for square, angular frames with deep lenses. Top-heavy frames and teardrop lenses will also help to balance the shape of your face.
If you are one of the lucky ones with an oval face, you should be able to wear any shape of frame provided that it is wider than your face is at its widest point.
Finally, for those with a square face, rounded, slightly curved frames will help to balance your face's strong lines.
